The hotel had good proximity - to the Central Station, to pick up canal trip, trams, and of course the train. The district was very convenient for laundry, restaurants, and shops. The staff was always helpful & friendly. The room was big & comfortable - I would definitely stay there again. Good value. -

The hotel is small, but very cozy. The room was quite small, but they all are in Amesterdam, and we felt the space was very well used.
The decoration is very nice and charming, with nice details. Its fairly new and very clean.

Don't believe the ba reviews. This place is lovely. All newly redecorated. Small rooms but for the amount of time you spend in them more than adequate.
Comfy beds, lovely shower room.
Complimentary shower gel and shampoo.
10 min walk from Anne Franks House. 15 minutes from Dam square. 10 mins from central station
Would stay there again. And highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights at the Crown B&B. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station and surprisingly close to all of the sights. Angelo, who was more like an old (or new!) friend, was a fantastic host - showing us how to get to all of the places we wanted to go and advising us where to eat and drink along the way. H

I loved the experience of staying in this beautiful, well maintained, centrally located typical Amsterdam building which was the main reason I picked this place. The room was tactfully and pleasantly decorated as well as the kitchen/dining area, which was very spacious and modern. The bathroom in our room was HUGE and fancy. I liked all of it - this is a quirky, little hotel which has the best location - 10 minutes from main station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank's house. One of the best locations being close to Central Station, Dam Square is 2 minute walk, all kinds of shops, restaurants, Anne Frank house and grocery store nearby. In room showers are very nice, Mark who manages the hotel is very nice, helpful and polite. Jasmine who is works in the wait staff is very nice, friendly and also well informed about the area. Would stay here again.

Our room was really clean, nice size, the staff where lovely and location was AMAZING! We stayed in the twin room and is exactly as the picture shows! Ignore the comment about about the building being old and decaying. It is old like many houses in the dam but not decaying!
