The hotel is so spectacular it is difficult to describe. Directly in the
Medina (Old City, the oldest Medina in Morocco). It is a former
residence of an Imam from the 17th century and could be described as a
palace. A rooftop terrace, inner courtyards and gardens, and even a
swimming pool in one of the courtyards. The manager, Said, speaks
several languages and was extraordinarily helpful, even having one of
the staff wash our clothes (we were traveling via motorcycle through

The room was excellent, staff the best, the space of leisure very very nice to get a rest from the "caos" of the medina. Its really really nice. We'll stay here again if we came back to fés! If you go there don't pay to anu guide before you try to find Rashid the best guide in the world!!

Dar El Menia was the best introduction to Morocco as it was our first time. It is located in the heart of the Medina of Fez and the refurbished riad was perfect. Graham makes everything available from airport pickup to excursions to onsite authentic meals. It was a highlight of our trip.

decorated and furnished with all the care and comfort you would expect.
Stunningly and expertly refurbished. Breakfast on the roof terrace (in
summer) was delightful both for location and the actual breakfast.
Centrally located in Fes this is an oasis of calm. Don't be put off
by anyone saying you shouldn't stay in the Medina. It is safe and

There was nothing about La Maison Verte which we didn't like.It is
a most beautiful riad, the staff were exceptionally friendly,helpful in
any way and treated us to lovely extras to eat and drink. The food at
the Palais Verte was wonderful. The views from the terras is
incredible. The only negative we have to say is that we didn't stay
long enough!!! Getting to the riad by car was a little daunting at
first,but someone met us and drove ahead of us,from there on we were
well taken care off.
