  location is very good,very handy to shops and restaurants.The front and back of the hotel have no traffic access, so nice and quiet, malls and plazas all round. Right on the waterfront,nice views.   The staff were so friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay and nothing was too much trouble. This is a fantastic hotel - clean, comfortable and a great restaraunt. The hotel organised for us to go to the proboscis monkey and orangutan sanctuaries, and also a river cruise. Since i find the town of Sandakan totally run down and a place not to be, livong outside of town was no prob. Manage to grab a cab to Sepilok thanks to the staff in the lobby for just 15 R Me and my girlfriend was the only ones livong at the hotel so it was quiet odd. Had 3 members of the staff helping us to get the landury machine working! Nice resturant!
