The family room which we had was very big and comfortable and clean. The bathroom is impressively big too with basic amenities. The water pressure is good. The room came with flat screen TV, hair dryer and coffee & tea facilities. WIFI is available for free and the signal was good. Breakfast is just nice, nothing fancy but good enough to start the day. 1. Value for money. Good for short stay. 2. Room is reasonably spacious and clean. 3. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. 4. Free car park. 5. Refrigerator with freezer (We were pleased because traveling with baby) and free wifi. Would definitely stay again if we visit Ipoh next time.
todo comentarios » The staff were very friendly and always available. They happily assisted us with our requests of them. Their advice for us was invaluable. Seemsoon was spotlessly clean. Each of the Managers made it their business to ensure that everything was just right for our stay. This hotel is still new.Comfy is the word. I booked 4 rooms for my cousins and kids. They enjoyed their stay in the room. Washroom was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice too. I would certainly come back for another stay if I am in Ipoh again. We took the family room. Spacious with very big bathroom. Love the shower - good strong pressure. Staff was helpful -helped us with luggage and gave directions to eating places. The breakfast spread was basic but this is not a major point. Friendly staff. Room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Ample parking space. Short driving distance to famous areas i.e. Gerbang market/Yat Tet Sin/Persiaran Bkt Timah to buy gifts/Ipoh products and enjoy famous food & drinks. The staff are friendly n helpful. As "westerners", the food for breakfast was very different, as it catered to the Malaysian people, which is where most of their clientel comes from. As a vegetarian, the only food I could have for breakfast was watermelon, but this really did not detract from how much we enjoyed Seemsoon Hotel. My room no 301 was a non smoking room but it had smell of cigarette and a little dusty. I suggest the hotel should extend their parking bay cos we had no car park during the night. A bit dusty at table corners & bed corners but won't affect us much. The housekeeping team may need to take note to maintain cleanliness level. Best if you can provide dinner. The room was smaller than the picture. Parking lot not enough Room can heard outside door sound quite clearly. The quality of food should be improved and the egg corner for breakfast should be outside due to some cooking involved and the hold restaurant is full of smoke smell. None. Please put a huge signage at the entrance of Regat dato mahmud. we nearly missed the entrance. Breakfast not so good. Half boiled egg should be hot but lt was cold and I ask for hot water to warm it. Limited parking lot. Not much!. The aircon is quite noisy. Even though the WiFi signal is available all over the place incld. inside your room, it's still pretty much useless, as the speed is so slow that you don't want to use it. The breakfast is below average. the cafe is a little bit of "squeezy", it took many visitor have to reserve the place before get their breakfast. Breakfast not many variety of food. Parking is not sufficient. Could do better with more car parks. no pool. breakfast terrible selection - could do better. suggest to have a proper f&B outlet serving all day dining. letsbookhotel.com and the hotel should work out something if one of the option (double bed or 2-single-bed) no longer available yet customer can book it through letsbookhotel.com. No room service. No laundry service. litter bit noisy at night, breakfast buffer have to improve. Food...rather lacked of choice...should include spicy food for adults... breakfast limited choice, not represent par value and image with hotel outlook. Breakfast not much variety. Other than that nothing to complain. Parking facilities very limited wifi quit slow. There was one incident where someone unlock the door while i'm still inside without informing, luckily the door was being close after realising there was someone inside the room. Kindly look into this issue seriously because it will affect the customer physically and mentally. TQ. Dining and cooking should not be in the same place due to smoke problem. Probably good is cooking is done in separate room or outside (in open air). The housekeeping did not knock the door first before open the door, even though they expect nobody in the room. Not really walkable distance to town center. Complimentary breakfast facility does not have enough tables and chairs for guests. We end up eating out. Location is not so good, walking distance to Ipoh center about 20 mins. The guest and housekeeping share the only 1 lift in the hotel. The quilt is full of neps which is very uncomfortable; Hairdryer is broken; Check-in was slow even at 1.30am; Breakfast is too simple. Shower host can't adjust Not supplying a box of tissue paper.
