This place is fantastic, great friendly english speaking staff, lovely Japanese style Tatami rooms (Futon on Mattress), which are a great size, and very comfortable, with normal Shower & Toilet unlike many manufactured Bathrooms in Japanese Hotels. Two supermarkets within 3 minutes walk on the main road parallel to the Hotels street, one is 24 hours. All the bars & restaurants of Asakusa are at your doorstep. Tawaramachi "Tokyo Metro" Station on the Ginza Line within 5 mins walk, Senso-. todo comentarios »
Returned here for the 4th time now, and what can I say, I have not already said. Its just a great little place, in a fantastic location, with great friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable with all you need. 3-4 mins walk to Tsukuba Express Station and 5 mins to Tawaramachi Metro Station. Close to Ueno, with the Ueno Zoo and Ueno Park which is lovely in Cherry Blossum season, and the Zoo has the cute Panda’s. The Tokyo Bunkya Keikan (Opera Hall) is also at Ueno for those interested in somethin.
The place was about a five minute walk from the subway station and it was really easy to find. It's surrounded by a ton of little eateries and restaurants as souvenir shops as Sensoji Temple is very close by. As for the ryokan itself, I loved how cozy my room was. The bed was VERY comfortable, and everything was very clean.
This hostel is very close to Asakusa Station and walking distance to Tawaramachi station. It is also close to Sensoji Temple, Tokyo Sky Tree and Sumida River. There's a lot of shops around the area. Staff were nice, very helpful and polite. I will stay at this Hostel again when I go back to Japan.
The staff are very helpful. They give us the useful information about the transportation and the sightseeing around Tokyo area. Even the room is tiny but it is very clean.
Useful information how to get from the hotel to the airport and various interesting places, near subway station.
Simple and adequate accommodations. Bed comfortable. Good information about the area. Roof access.
Location near tourist sites in Asakusa, wi-fi in a room, helpful staff, low price.
Good internet, good air-conditioning, nice staff that answered all questions.
Location is very nice, close to Asakusa Temples, very relaxing area.
room was spacious enough for two people to move around freely.
Host ,location.
The receptionist at the front desk is helpful and good in English communication. My room was at 1F.The bed was soft enough and the room was neat. Seperate toilet and bath room. Value for money!!.
Very comfortable bedding (mattress). Nice plain, quiet district, close to commercial street.Near to city area, easily accessible to the tourist areas in Tokyo.
Good neighborhood.
Nothing not to like....
While my room smelled fresh and clean for the most part, there was this strange sewage smell from the bathroom the morning before I checked out.
The room is quite tiny.
Got a room right next to the adjacent building, so got almost no natural light. Rather harsh fluorescent as alternative.
A little bit too small room.
Rooms were a bit small. But for that price who cares.
the attached bathroom had a bathtub but it was rather deep and inconvenient to get in and out.
No stairs.
No writing desk and closet.
Thin walls. Toilet room and bath clean but dubious, needing maybe renewal/reform. An old hotel built on a budget, for budget travellers. The room was a bit too small.
Thin futons. Smelly bathroom.
room was pretty small.
