Ryokan Matsukaze - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
The family was wonderfully helpful and welcoming. Hot water for tea was
in the room upon arrival, as well as a japanese style bathrobe.
Everything was clean and beautiful in a traditional Japanese fashion.
They let me keep my bag behind the desk for a day after leaving. Only a
ten minute walk from the train station (although not obvious, I was able
to find it in the dark pretty easily), although They do offer free pick-
up. And a great price!. todo comentarios »
Matsukaze was a well-staffed, friendly and budget-oriented Ryokan that delivers for the price asked. Though not in the central-area of Matsumoto, it is probably the best-value-for-dollar for people who want traditional Japanese accommodation in this mountainous area.
Additionally, the Ryokan is a 15 minute walk from the JR Matsumoto station.
Nice place with wonderful and friendly staff. They are very warm and welcoming people and will even take you to the city with their car. Thank you for the nice stay, the bath is superb!.
Personal are very friendly but they don't understand English. The rooms are very big, clean and full of little details. Japanese 100%.
Loved the traditional beds on the floor, housecoats and slippers. Nice and warm, and quiet. Free lift to the train the next day :).
Very helpful staff, and convenient (about 10 minutes walk to train station). The bathrooms are very clean as well.
Very nice Ryokan with very friendly staff. Price/quality is definitely unmatched. Excellent stay. Recommended.
Quiet location. Very kind host. Spacious and clean room in Japanese style. Good value.
Nice accommodation. Helpful staff, although they're English
wasn't really good.
staff were really helpful and friendly
nice room, clean and tidy, big TV.
very friendly staff,
nice big room with large windows at 3 sides.
clean, friendly, enough space
quiet at night.
Very friendly staff. Nice rooms.
Comfortable and clean place.
Taking a bath at the onsen.
Cost, Near by the station.
everything in Matsukaze!.
Beautiful rooms.
great room!.
Decent value, 10 minute walk from station, very friendly and accommodating staff.
It walking distance to the Train & Bus Terminal (10 minutes).
Comfortable room. Affordable.
Nice spacious room. Free drop off at station. The big Japanese drum in
the lobby to call the staff.
Host very friendly.
It's hard to see the sign from the street you cross the bridge on. I
wandered in the back door by accident.
Note of caution: don't attempt to carry your (heavy) luggage the first time here. There are no sidewalks beyond a certain point from the station. Take a taxi.
Only the location is not good, it is quite a walk in the opposite direction from city center.
No western showers. Timetable for use the collective bath.
Bit of a trek on foot from the train station but there were a lot of roadworks at the time, which caused diversions.
A 10 min. walk from the center, but should not be an issue.
The overflow house where we were had a food smell but it was spotless and you soon stopped noticing it. Maybe it was the tatami mats.
The indication on google map when I search with the address somehow
showed that its on the left side after the bridge over the canal. The
correct on should be on the right. Look out for the green signage when
crossing the canal. There's a shorter way(10min) from the station
only shown after you reached the hotel. They could post the map to the
web in advance.
not so many bathrooms.
a little indication (showing the direction to pedestrians) is welcome.
Small bathroom.
the difficulties in speaking with the staff de to the lack of people speaking English fluently and to my lack of knowledge of Japanese.
The stuff don't speak English.
nothing!.
A bit of a walk to get to the center.
so only one shower room, so i guess if hotel is busy this might be a problem.
It is difficult to find one's way from the JR Station/town centre to the ryokan.
The setup makes this place a very noisy place in the morning, so don't plan on sleeping in. Also, if you get a room in the new building across the street, the new tatami mats have a VERY strong smell. I changed rooms after the first night. The bath is nice and large enough for five people, but for some reason only one person can use it at once, so it's not always easy to get in.
Only one shower room made it difficult.
Shared facilities are very clean but have a bit a dated youth hostel
feel. Some small things were broken that should be very easy to repair.
The location is at the back of the rail road complex and a bit separated
from the centre.
Rooms smelt mouldy
Kerosene heater
Only one futon mattress on floor rather than customary two made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
Post paid but were not advised that credit card was not accepted which meant travelling around town with ourfriendlyhost to find ATM.
Lot of confusion with the reservation. Had to spend some time to clear out things. Hopefully a Japanese person could help.
