The staff was very nice and kind, but I'm not the kind of
costumer that makes requests. The reception were very sofisticated
with a very nice design. The room had a great space and the design
was lovely too. The kitchenette was really helpful! It has everything
you need if you want to prepare your food in your room. They even

Stayed 11 nights in this wonderful city and had read about Citadines
Karasuma,indeed,it´s as most people say. Very comfortable and super
clean hotel. In one of the most busy avenues of Kyoto but when inside
what you really hear is just a slight traffic rumour. The room maids
where very good, altough I usually left the towels and kimono hanging
they nonetheless changed everyday. The fully equiped kitchenette is a
plus for a snack or light meal if you´re to tired to go out. Just

Very good newer hotel near South exit of Kyoto station. -
Clean, large room. Front desk lady was a bit cold but the male concierge was nice and helped us to arrange a dinner at Chihana. If you need wifi, ask for a router (no charge)

A perfect hotel if you'd like to get away from the japanese business hotels with the small rooms. If you are traveling as a family or if you are older, this is the best choice in Kyoto as far as I'm concerned. The hotel is located on a rather busy street with lots of shops and restaurants, and also just a few minutes from the Kyoto shiyakusho-mae subway station, that will take you to and from Kyoto station.
