The building us amazing from the outside, but the garden courtyard is absolutely stunning. NHK was actually filming the the night I stayed. I opted for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. It was a great Japanese style meal and I left full. -

The staff at this place were unbelievably accommodating. It was nice to be at a place that everyone was friendly. I was nervous from seeing pictures but it was fine. Great kitchen - it was nice to take a break from eating out and being able to buy from a grocery store and cook at the guest house. Great location, walking distance from the train

I really appreciated the friendly greeting and relaxed atmosphere. It's a special place and very good value. The location is very close to the station and there are some fun and well priced eating places nearby and open late if you have a late arrival.
