  A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. We opted for the shared bathroom (there is a toilet in the ro... lo que la gente dice » om). We really didn't know what to expect. It's a traditional, segregated male and female, bathing area. Just what we all needed after a busy day sigh - spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

  Staff were so friendly and helpful! they couldn't speak English fluently but they could understand enough for us to get our point across. Had a wonderful Japanese style room with a balcony and lovely view of the Lake when we woke up! brilliant! also has a public onsen or the option to have a bathroom adjoined to your room as well which is great fo... lo que la gente dice » r westerners! - This place is amazing if you have a room facing Mt. Fuji. The possibility to rent a bicycle to cycle around during the day (allowed until 6pm only) is a huge plus because there are so many sights and sounds to look out for. Another huge plus is the fact that we had an on-site onsen (hot bath). It is very useful after a whole day of trekking around the place.
