  Staff were so friendly and helpful! they couldn't speak English fluently but they could understand enough for us to get our point across. Fuji. The possibility to rent a bicycle to cycle around during the day (allowed until 6pm only) is a huge plus because there are so many sights and sounds to look out for. Another huge plus is the fact that we had an on-site onsen (hot bath). It is very useful after a whole day of trekking around the place.

  Location fantastic from kawaguchiko station. Centre spot of Mount Fuji. Staff spoke good english, pleasant and helped me with my lost ticket. Facilities are fanstastic, free wifi, internet, coffee, recreation area.. Hot running Onsen upstairs and clean toilet facilities. Overall my stay at kawaguchiko station and the views of mount fuji were the highlight of my trip to japan. - Location is great, very near the train station. I stayed in the Japanese- style room and it was good. The room is spacious for Japanese standards and the shared toilet was clean. The communal bathroom is clean and of good space too. Staff was very friendly. They let us keep our bag for 36 hours until we came back from a climb in the mountain and everything was safe there.

  Pension Kamifusen is a place well-worth the stay for the night at Kawaguchiko. We received a lot of help and understanding from the owners, despite our inability to communicate effectively.   We sayed in a dorm but it was more like our own room because of the room deviders. It was comfortable and really close to the train/ bus station. Great value for money. We also did their 2500 yen PP offer to see a temple,traditional 400 year old houses and natural fresh water spring with lunch and dinner included. Over all had a great stay, all the staff were very helpful (even helping us to book our ove - Excellent location - you can see it from the train station. Staff can speak English. They have a locked luggage storage room and kept our luggage for us while we climbed Fuji overnight (we had checked out the previous morning). They offer breakfast of toast with jam, juice, salad and unlimited tea and coffee for 180y. There is also a restaurant for dinner. Rooms were large with fridge, TV, large cupboard space and hangers. Laundry available. Large rooftop balcony with clothesline to dry laundry
