real Venice experience ( unlike the previous boring Venitian hotel where

Apartamenti Veneziani was a great place to stay. Very spacious and comfortable the apartment was location in a fantastic location that made it easy to explore all of Venice and also get back to. Carlo was fabulous-- we discovered a problem with our airline tickets at the airport which meant an additional night in Venice (even though we'd already checked out of the hotel that morning), Carlo graciously said he he could put us up for the night saying, "it will be nice to visit with you again." He was also helpful with finding an open pharmacy on a Sunday and answering our many questions.

The location was great only a short walk from the pizzale Roma where we got the bus to and from the airport. Also just a short walk into the main attractions grand canal, st marks square. The staff were really helpful and friendly and were even sympathic when we did t arrive till late on the Monday night due to a delayed flight. -
