Residence Nigritelles is in the gorgeous village Lillaz. It is well positioned to provide amazing views from most rooms. We upgraded to an apartment on the top floor which was spacious, very comfortable and with fabulous mountain views. The owners were extremely welcoming and gave us detailed information on all the hikes to do in the area. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.

A real find! We stayed at the Belvedere as part of a four day ski break.
Having flown in from London, we hired a car at Milan Malpensa and drove
to Champoluc. Our flight times were such that we only arrived in the
village around 10:45 pm, so we had to wait for the last Gondola up to

The host. He is fantastic; kind, friendly and takes care of everything.
The sights; this place is high and isolated and surrounded by high mountains. It is an excellent base for hiking.
Getting up to the place includes a free Jeep ride (With an excellent driver) in alpine scenery; it was a great welcome to the place.
The food; Dinner was very nice and the host can cook (and he is good cook as the food was great) wherever diet that is requested.

A relaxed, friendly, family owned hotel. Perfectly situated in Cogne. Wonderful Italian food. Unfortunately we don't speak Italian but the lovely waiters were so helpful and made an effort to translate for us. As a vegetarian I had plenty of choice. Fabulous spa facilities.Free local buses into nearby valleys mean you can start walks at a higher level. Excellent National Park Centre and Mining Museum in nearby village (catch free bus there and walk back). Good walking map from Tourist I
