As a single female I felt very safe, my room was clean, no view but I don't stay in my room except to shower and sleep. The location was fantastic, easy walking distance from the train station and to all major tourist spots. Lots of dining options very close by. And both the central market and the leather market less than 2 minutes away! I asked the desk to change my air conditioning setting so I could make the room nice and comfortable when I returned from my excursions. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. They
all spoke my language, English, and were not at all offended by my
complete lack of familiarity with theirs. They were quick to assist me

Pretty much everything was great. The staff were very helpful and
kind. I was a single adult with 5 children ages 2 - 14. The proximity
to the Leaning Tower and other things in Pisa was perfect. My 2 year
old was able to walk the distance easily. The room was more than
adequate for our needs. We stayed 2 nights, and drove in to Rome and
then back. Tiring, but I looked forward to getting back to our room.
Would go back again!

We arrive after 1AM while the hotel was closed. The lady drove 20 mins to let us in for the night. She was very pleasant and did not complain. I do not think there are many placed that will do that. It was a great stay in Hotel Genzianella. The staff is really polite and all of them speak english. We checked in on friday 8th november. They gave us a city map, explain how to find all the sights, where to eat local tasty food, but not in the tourist area. Also the hotel is 24/7. We only stayed for one night, so I can't really offer a great review...but our room was clean, large and comfortable, the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, WiFi was free and worked okay, and the location is great. Although we didn't use them, the common room and dining area looked nice too!

It's a quiet place with Arno river view, Florence bridges very
clean, the staff is very nice, and helpful. After a long day in the
attraction you can relax in your room looking the river and the other
side of the town. Few blocks away from the train terminal and
attraction. I really recommend this hotel if you visit Florence. Good
service in the breakfast, good espresso and delicious hot chocolate.
