We stayed in a very spacios family room in this caracter house just outside Favara, whcih is only a 10 minute drive away from the Valley of the Temples. The owner is most gratious and did everything possible to ensure a memorable stay for us and other guests. A family run Italian restaurant he recommended in Favara (King Bar) was very authentic and non-touristy. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff - a very pretty, small and intimate hotel. It had a very nice terrace area for relaxing in the heat of the afternoon and our room had its own private terrace too. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice and some local specialities which we liked very much. Quiet, but convenient for the centre of Taormina.

Most amazing place I have ever stayed. Total relaxation both at La Forrsteria and at the nearby private beach. Fabulous food and the most attententive and friendly staff who did all they could to make you feel welcome and at home. Very personal and wonderful experience. Worth every penny!
