We travelled with another couple so this was like sharing an apartment. Giuseppina was a wonderful host helping us with suggestions on whereto eat, (all of which we loved) even though she had little English. Son Giuseppe carried our bags up the 3 flights of stairs and down again on our departure. Wonderful breakfast. Would absolutely recommend.

Without a doubt, Domus Verdiana was one of the nicest places I've ever spent a few nights in. Situated in a small village near the start of Etna's national park it's a great place to use as a base to explore the region. The room we stayed in was lovely, comfortable and clean with a great little balcony to relax on, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious (especially the homemade cake I helped myself too!). We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good.
The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable.
The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.
