Our hosts Carmen & Angelo were fantastic and made us feel most welcome from the minute we arrived. Room very comfortable and easy access to Mt Etna from Trecastagni. Breakfast was excellent.

We travelled with another couple so this was like sharing an apartment. Giuseppina was a wonderful host helping us with suggestions on whereto eat, (all of which we loved) even though she had little English. Son Giuseppe carried our bags up the 3 flights of stairs and down again on our departure. Wonderful breakfast. Would absolutely recommend.

Giuseppe and his family (they have their own hotel and restaurant M.A.T.E.S) are the nicest people whose we found in Sicily.
Everything was perfect: Incredibly beautiful views; very tasteful, in authentic style renovated hotel; incredibly tasty food and wine :)

Without a doubt, Domus Verdiana was one of the nicest places I've ever spent a few nights in. Situated in a small village near the start of Etna's national park it's a great place to use as a base to explore the region. The room we stayed in was lovely, comfortable and clean with a great little balcony to relax on, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious (especially the homemade cake I helped myself too!). However, the hospitality we received from Vincenzo and Daniela was absolutely the best
