Il Carmine is very conveniently located in a quiet piazza about 200m from the centre of the the old hilltop town of Erice. The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

Neas is really in the heart of romantic Noto. It is really close to the Corso Vittorio Emanuele. If you wish, small parking space is available right at the door, however I don't know whether it's free or not. The hotel was centrally located with parking nearby. It was quiet and comfortable and also a stylish, classical building.The staff were friendly and efficient. It was nice to see young people managing it.

The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in
terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed
daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for
common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the
clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some
noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
