Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially considering our very limited Italian. They also let us use the bicycles at the hotel and arranged a taxi to pick us up from Trapani airport and back again as we had no hire car. - Great bed, large room with wonderful bath, quiet, a/c worked great

The staff were very courteous and helpful. We stayed only one night but the were happy for us to leave our car in their garage on the day we were leaving until 5pm so that we had time both to go to the beach in the morning and then to take the cable car to Taormina and have a good look around. The pool and roof terrace are great with fantastic views, likewise the restaurant/bar. If I was to go again I would definately stay for longer.

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the beautifully renovated La Gancia! We stayed with a 4 month old baby and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! The location of the hotel was good, it was quite near to the railway station and also just a couple of streets back from the beach and a short walk into the old town. The wonderful bathroom with a large modern shower was great. The breakfast was excellent, including plenty of fresh fruit. There was a free aperitif each evening in the bar. It only lacks a pool, but there are loungers and a tub on the sun roof.
