The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

Parking is available, which is crucial here. Breakfast with good variety and tasty, on the terrace with lovely views.

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

The bathroom was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities; slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a home was already there. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro. Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time. ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.

  We had a large room with private balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel has many pools and activities, even a free kayak for guests. Room was very quiet with only the sound of waves at night.
