I had a very pleasant stay at Caligola resort and hereby recommend it to everyone! The location is just great, nearby to Trastevere. Location: 15 minute walk to cafe/restaurant area of Trastevere, beautiful small park across the street (Villa Sciarra), beautiful huge park 5 minute walk away (Villa Doria Pamphilli)...one of the prettiest city parks I've ever seen. Safe area all around.
Staff was great, facilities were comfortable. Patio/garden area were great. I've been to Rome 6 times and each time was in the Historic areas...Trastevere was a nice change of pace and much cheaper.

It´s really close to the Trastevere railway station with the direct connection to the airport which is relatively fast and very comfortable.
The hotel is brand new and in modern style, mattresses are perfect and the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels and toilet paper included:)
Be aware of the code on the door which you must not forget. The receptionist will write it for you on the card which you have by yourself all the time which is also convenient so you don't ask the staff every time you
