Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

The hotel rooms are suberb,very modern and clean with remarkably comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and the shower is so relaxing. The staff are really out of this world. The location was great if you like to walk(15-20minutes from piazza Popolo or Spagnia) or use the public transportation (direct lines to Vatican,Trastevere and Coloseum 5-10minutes walk away) it had also a taxi piazza 20m away. Great value for what it offered. Very helpful people. -
