Valter was very helpful in trying to give us directions to various areas of interest in Rome. The location was perfect for walking to all the historic sites. Position was great -close to attractions, all food from supermarket to restaurants, as well as public transport.
Very accommodating and friendly owners - nothing too much trouble.
Good value for money and the kitchen facility was great and the personal touch was appreciated after a month of travelling and staying in impersonal hotels.Would definitely recommend.

When embarking on our first trip to Europe this summer, we decided to
use B&B's as opposed to hotel chains during our travels, hoping

Location was excellent (once we found it!) very close to coliseum and
some nice local restaurants. Room was fairly small but clean and
comfortable. Breakfast was continental-style but ample and very good.
Staff were helpful but only spoke Italian but we were able to
communicate through miming and some broken Italian/English.

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

We visited Rome as the first stop on our honeymoon. Our flight from the
us was canceled so we missed the first night and arrived to Rome early
in the morning. The sweet lady at the front desk could not have been
more helpful or kind. She bumped us up to a room with a better view, let
us get breakfast while we waited and then got us into our room as soon
as she could. The hotel is so close to the Coliseum and was in a quiet

The room and private bathroom was large and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to the metro yet walking distance to San Giovanni in Laterano. The
Italian breakfast consisted of plenty of croissants, espresso, toast, juice and cereal. It was an ideal place to stay while in Rome and a wonderfully quiet refuge when we needed a rest from exploring the city.

It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. This is somewhat a boutique hotel, and not for the budget traveller, but
... what a fantastic location. And the staff are incredibly friendly and
helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to go. Giulia (the
owner) did a soft sell on me for her custom-made jewelry, and won me
over. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no
tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was
delivered, gratis. A nice touch.
