We were really impressed with Hotel Coppe, the staff at reception were just terrific, proactive and helpful. The room was well designed and immaculately clean. We loved it. Great position and if we visited Trieste again we would definitely stay at Hotel Coppe.

Newly renovated, rooms are fabulous, bed and pillows so comfortable. Cutest little coffee machine in all the rooms, such a nice touch. The breakfast was stunning, you could even have a glass of prosecco if inclined, I could not resist their divine little donut thingy filled with warm nutella, yummy. The room was clean and comfortable, nice design. Good breakfast and coffee of course. Friendly staff. Excellent choice for a short stay in Trieste. Breakfast is served in a restaurant facing Piazza dell`Unita d`Italia ~ magnificent!

Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

We got in very late due to airline delay..and they were wonderful in
holding our room and getting us into the hotel room. The breakfasts were
fantastic. The room price was worth every dollar. They even helped us
avoid an 18 Euro parking fee every day by telling us about the very

The location of the hotel on the waterfront and in the center of historical amenities are two reasons to stay here. The city bus services are conveniently located just outside the hotel's doors. The hotel is located in an historical building (we had a balcony facing the water) with rooms that were immaculate and whose staff were very helpful. An added bonus was that our car rental office was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel.

We were very lucky to have a room with a view of the coast, and enjoyed the panorama towards Miramare during the day and the sweep of the lighthouse beam in the evening. The location was excellent. Right in the center, a 5 minute walk from the main square and the various cafes and bars.
The room we had was very large. It had a kitchenette and a small balcony. Perfect for anyone planning an extended stay.
The bed was large comfortable.
Trieste: The Positive side to my "negative" "Trieste": Not being very "touristy" - one definitely gets to enjoy things as one might do if one was a resident.
