Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were very lucky to be given a room overlooking the canal which was great. Cesare (owner of the hotel) could not be more helpful. He truly made a good hotel into a great one! Very personal, easy to get to from the boat stops, and a very short boat ride to the main island. Wouldn't hesitate in going back. -
Hospitality of Cesare the owner was second to none - friendly and
helpful. The room was beautifully presented and lived up to the online
description. Location on Murano was perfect - central for everything yet
not on the main canal so retained peace and quiet.

The rooms were great, new in design. Beds were great with extra blankets
and pillows. The breakfast was the normal Italian b/b pastries and
meats cereals, but enough for a morning starter. The location was close
to the big San Marco Square, just remember to get off the boat at the

Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is
basic european with rolls, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt, etc. This
B&B is off the beaten path in Venice, so you have to walk or take
the vaparetto to most places. Walking to St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge,
etc. is easy. There are 2 Vaparetto stops nearby which make travel
around the city easy too.

It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

I liked the warm welcome from Allan. To be able to stay on the island is
a privilege and São Paulo is perfectly located. We took the water bus
from the train station after first asking for help from the tourist
office at the station. We easily found the accommodation and it was fun
navigating the unique streets of Venice.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

This was a fantastic place to stay and I would, without question, stay here again. The location is brilliant: a 7 minute walk to San Marco square and it is again a 7 minute walk to the vaporetto stops which connect you with all parts of Venice.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, it felt like home to our Children instead of a hotel. The family room was large and comfortable, and it's a 5 minute walk to San Marco square. There is a grocery store, laundromat and many shops and restaurants located very close. We will recommend to all our friends with children.
