  The location is fairly close (15-minutes walk) to the Metro station, and there's a supermarket on the way, but it's nowhere central. Takes in total about 40 minutes to drive to the main tourist areas. The kitchen is decently equipped with all the basic things, everything is rugged and used, but functional and decently clean. The apartment is in the basement of an apartment building but since we were only there really to sleep and eat a few meals that was ok. Opening the windows let in more light but it was very noisy since it is on a fairly busy street. It suited our purposes as being close to the metro and grocery and being a good location for visiting Rome. It is definitely an italian apa

This was the best part of our Rome visit as far as comfort and friendliness are concerned. Over and over, they gave directions, helped with an awful incident, made our stay a delight. The breakfast was out of this world with fresh baked goods and home made yogurt and fine cappuccino. Would stay again...4.8 Euros to get to our cruise ship (1 1/2 hours ride)---- Tuscolana is right on the train line. Quiet neighbourhood.
