We stayed at the Casale Dei Cento Acri as we wanted to do some shopping in Florence without the problems of driving into the restricted zone. The hotel can only be described as a haven near the City. We found the gates just a little way down from the traffic lights in Via Larione, and after buzzing the intercom we drove in to find not only the hotel but a wide open space with lots of car parking. The owners were very welcoming and gave us a map and details lf buses to the centre which were only.
todo comentarios » The hostess is very welcome and kind. She introduced us to all the nearby interesting spots on a map of the city which is very helpful. The electricity went out during the 2nd night probably due to the long rain in the last few days. Although it was a Sunday evening the electrician came to the house within 30 minutes while the hostess gave us all the candles she has in the hotel. While there was a little bit inconvenient to have no electricity to charge our phone or computer, we did feel it's q. The very nice hotel in the green area of Florence. If you like walking, you can reach the city center within 30 min., but it's also very easy to reach it by bus. The staff is very friendly and provides you with all the needed information about busses, restaurants near by and etc. Breakfast was good, because I like sweet and light breakfast. There were no boiled or fried eggs but if you like them, you can ask for them and you will get them as well. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are vis. The B&B was located on the out scoured of Firenze with only a 10min walk to bus stop and further 10 min by bus to the centre for Firenze. It's surroundings was peaceful and beautiful. the owners and Staff just did that bit more then what is needed to make our stay comfortable. We (stepmom and I) did only spend one night, but would like to come back with my husband for a long weekend. Really helpful, cheerful and service minded, as a small family B&B should be. Easy to find using maps an. The rooms are cozy and tastefully furnished, with strong, free wifi. The staff are so warm, helpful and friendly, that you would totally feel at home. The B&B is perfect for people traveling by car, because of the secure and free parking. Since cars are anyway restricted from the historic center, you could just take the bus (stop is 3 mins walk from the B&B), and you'll be in the center in 15 mins. Simone and Mama couldn't do enough to help us. Simone booked tickets for the art galleries to save us queueing and gave us lots of useful instructions. A lovely villa in an excellent position, close to buses to go into Florence. Clean, spacious, a good continental breakfast, but Mama also will cook very good eggs ! We would highly recommend this place. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again. Our host was so welcoming and the room was lovely. There are electronic gates so parking is very secure and there is plenty if it. We were surprised when the gates opened to find this lovely B&B situated so close to Florence yet set in its own area of countryside. A real gem of a place. The excellent place for travelers with a car. Large parking place which is free of charge. The location is easy accessible from motorway, have a good city bus connection. The stuf is very polite, special thanks to ISA. The house is a romantic old style farm mansion freshly renovated with large fully equipped bedrooms and very spacey living rooms. Lovely hosts, that welcome us with a smile in a late check in and with a delicious breakfast early in the morning. You feel that you arrived to Grandma's big house in the countryside - yet you are 150m from the bus that takes you to the center of Florence in 10m. Very nice tips for nearby restaurants and huge & safe parking. more of a big house rather than a hotel, warm room during winter, big room, new bathroom, free parlking, placed in a huge land property, quite, very very kind family, although far from center very close to bus station (end of line at piazza San Marco). Definetely stay there again, value for money. This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is excellent. Especially Simone and her mother( sweet little ball of energy). The location of the hotel is very good for central florence which is only a 10 minute bus ride away. Very good local restaurants near hotel - 3 excellent ones recommended by hotel owners. At first time we drove and passed by the hotel without seeing the hotel although GPS did locate the correct place. Then we have to park our car first and walk back to check if the hotel was there. But once we know where it is this is not an issue anymore. If you drive to the hotel, better arrive during the day or ask the hotel how to find the place in advance. Have nothing to point my fingers at. maybe for some the Breakfast could be bigger, but I think it is what you need for a healthy start of the day. Nothing. Our room was rather dark, but that wasn't really a problem. Nothing!. our room faced the road which by 7:30am on weekdays is heavily used by cars and kids going to school making a lot of noise (no double windows). Also despite the heating the room was slightly cold (dought they were freezing December days). None. Missed the place the first time so.....when you turn on to Larione- SLOW DOWN as it is your first left!!! About 100ft from main road. It is a one way so pay attention,. nothing. no complains. Simple breakfast. breakfast is poor when I compare with other hotels during my visit to italy. thats all... Nothing at all. Basic breakfast, but we could preapare fresh orange juice, so overall it was good. Haven't. Nothing. None.-. A bit far from city, must get a car. Price is a bit expansive for the facilities. Location a bit noisy. All good. 10 minute walk to centre. One way street entry was extremely busy and noisy with commuter traffic & rather hard to find. If you missed it, took along time to go around the block. Area had very few restaurant choices and didn't feel safe after dark.
