Best hotel out of our entire trip around the lakes and the coast! Excellent warm friendly service, perfect English and the best hotel restaurant food to accompany the breathtaking view over the lake. Unassuming on the outside yet surprisingly boutique on the inside.

Perfect quiet location. No activities for children. We were glad there were only adults. The food is of very high class but still at a reasonable price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
There is a short walking distance (trafic no problem for adults who are fully mobile) to town ,Laveno where you will find traditional Italian resturants -

We had a totally magnificent holiday for 5 days, totally relaxed luxury.

This was quite a surprise because the outside does not impress but the inside is very well done with modern fixtures. We were very impressed with the restaurant especially the degustation menu. The owners are doing it up so the outside will probably be modernized during the quiet season.

Friendly, family-run hotel in excellent location that made our stay most enjoyable. The decor is not new, however well cared for and the hotel is certainly clean. The owners evidently care about the hotel and their guests - I'd happily return. -

Lovely hotel, walking distance from Laveno so no need to use the car all the time. Beautiful views of the lake and the Alps. Peaceful location and fantastic staff. The food was excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel.

the room was a dream and it was only 35 euros with breakfast. I must say that after some disappointing experience in a Rome hotel, I was so happy to meet with italian gentillesa and grace.

Most rooms are facing the lake and you could sit out in the balcony enjoying the view. The bed and pillows are comfortable, with firm mattress which is quite important for a good night sleep.
The car park is right opposite the hotel which is very convenient. But it is not within walking distance to Stresa town centre as it is still a few minutes

Very cosy, nicely decorated little place with a view to Lago Maggiore. Very helpful and hospitable staff who made it feel like we stay at our grandma's country house. Fascinating breakfast! If you tavel by train e.x. from Milan, you might find the location a bit remote. This is however very relative... We had no problem to have a 30-mins walk from the train station along the coastline to the hotel. If you travel by car, the location is perfect and a free parking is also available. Highly recomm
