  We were afraid that the Trulli resort and Alberobello might be be overwhelmed by tourists and souvenir shops. There were both, but it was still a delightful and interesting place to visit. And to actually stay in a real trullo was a unique experience. The trullo we were in was very well designed and perfectly maintained. It seemed to be recently r - We were lucky to have a very well situated Trulli on a quiet side street just along from the bar and offices. The facilities and ambience of the Trulli exceeded our expectations. In May the whole area round the Trulli was perfumed by Jasmine! The staff were helpful when needed - which included helping us as we arrived. We should have taken a decent map of the town.
