I spent a very pleasant twelve nights here. The staff are charming,
hospitable, and friendly, and all spoke good English. The room was
clean, the bed fine. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Wifi good and
fast and even reached to my room, despite no suggestion that it would.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. It was built in 1920 and has an Art Deco appearance with modern amenities. The bathroom has a large shower with new tiles, mirrors and sink. The location was perfect! Close to the tower, bus right out front front that takes you to the train station and airport. Breakfast was yummy-kids loved the sandwiches and I loved the cakes and coffee! Room was great for a family of 4 with a balcony to enjoy in the morning and evening! Super place and would stay here again!

Really freindly welcome and a fantastic location in Pisa. Recommendations for resteraunts given to us by the manager (Luca) were the best we found in Italy. He even booked the table for us. We had the bigger room which comes with a private balcony. Plenty of space four 4 of us and room comes with a double and two singles which is good for families.
They were happy for us to leave bags with them all day, which is great if you have a late flight..

horrible circumstance. I will not forget her coming out into the parking
lot in her night clothes and welcoming us with whispers. The villa is
full of memorabilia from Marta's life and travels. The rooms are

Marta is so lovely, A wonderful warm hostess. We had a beautiful room with a balcony with views of the green hills surrounding Lucca.
Every room is beautiful. Marta's villa is located an easy short 10 km drive from Lucca with onsite parking.
The breakfast was the best we had in our 4 week tour around France & Italy. Beautiful.
Even the towels & bedlinen were good quality cotton.
We would certainly return to Marta's if ever again in Lucca.
We can definitely recommend a stay at Marta Gue

Attentive staff- attractive rooms and centrally located - Central location in Lucca, very close to the Amphitheatre. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. We had a four bedroom split apartment. Beautiful furniture, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and great views across the rooftops and La Torre Delle Ore.

We really enjoyed our stay. Every detail was taken care of in and out of
the room. All kinds of little extras in the room and then there were
bicycles available to each person at all times. The breakfasts were
outstanding! The staff gave good recommendations for area restaurants
and activities. -
