We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

We were warmly greeted by Krizia, who helped us in every aspect from recommending tourist attractions, to restaurants, etc. We were treated incredibly and felt instantly at home. The accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.
