Information about the area

Clare's beauty attracts visitors from around the world, who come to see the famous river Shannon, Lough Derg (which forms its eastern boundary) and the rugged Atlantic coastline with its towering cliffs and golden 'blue flag' beaches. The Lodge is within walking distance of the beach.

The area surrounding Admiralty Lodge and Spanish Point is acclaimed for it's breathtaking scenery and seascapes. Main attractions include the Cliffs of Moher, the Aillwee Caves and the famous Burren landscape.

Room information details

The hotel has 10 deluxe rooms and one executive suite. All rooms are air conditioned and en suite with marble bathrooms. Each has a flat-screen TV and surround sound music system. Four-poster, king-size and twin bedrooms are also available.

There is one bedroom with disabled facilities.

Travelling information

From Ennis:
- Follow signs for Ennistymon (N85).
- At Inagh follow signs for Milltown Malbay (R460).
- At the junction with the R474, turn right onto R474 to Milltown Malbay.
- In Milltown Malbay turn left onto the N67 (signposted Kilkee).
- At junction with R482 (south) turn right onto R482 (signposted Spanish Point).
- Follow this road past beach on your left for about one mile.
- You will come to a T-junction, turn left and follow this road for 300 metres and Admiralty Lodge is on your right.

From Dublin:
- Follow signs for Kildare.
- At junction follow sign to Limerick.
- Pass through Borris in Ossory and at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Roscrea bypass.
- At roundabout take the 3rd exit, then the 1st exit at the next roundabout.
- Continue for Limerick then follow signs for Ennis.
- When in Ennis, continue to a roundabout and take the 1st exit (signposted Inagh/Ennistimon road).
- Continue to Inagh village and follow signs for Milltown Malbay (R460).
- At junction with R474, turn right onto R474 for Milltown Malbay.
- In Milltown Malbay turn left onto the N67 (signposted Kilkee).
- At junction with R482 (south) turn right onto the R482 (signposted Spanish Point).
- Follow this road past the beach on your left about one mile. You will come to a T-junction, turn left, follow this road for 300 metres and Admiralty Lodge is on your right.
