Loved our Stay at Ballyliffen Spa & Lodge Hotel. Staff were extremely Friendly & accommodating. We ate in Jacks Bar & the food was excellent. 3 courses for 18Euro. We had booked breakfast as part of our package & I have to say my husband has never been asked would he like "more to eat" after polishing off the Full Irish Fry. Breakfast was excellent. We used the Steam Room, Jacuzzi & Swimming Pool. Will definitely Return To This Hotel.
todo comentarios » Jacks bar food was beautiful & excellent value for €18 for 3 courses. Staff were fab, view from room was fantastic. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. I liked the idea of the kids club even though I didn't have my 6 year old with me. The kids area with interactive screens & video games was great. Loved everything about it. Stunning hotel stunning food. We are getting married there next year and could not be happier with our decision to choose that hotel. It is so well maintained, i could have stayed foe another few nights. The hotel was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and informative as we had never visited the area. The food and atmosphere in Jacks bar was excellent!!!!. Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel is in a beautiful location over looking Pollen Beach. The break was perfect from start to finish warm friendly atomosphere absolutely idilylic. The hotel facilites, the room, the food and spa were all fantastic. Cannot fault them at all. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back. Room facilities and size of room Food at dinner was well cooked and good (if not gourmet class) Good tasty breakfast Cheerful reception staff( Louise). Staff very friendly on arrival. The only thing I didn't like and it was a minor issue was the door dividing our bedroom (107) from the next although it was locked!!! Thought it was more a family room, but tolerated it given the price... There was nothing at all that I could fault were the Ballyliffin Lodge is concerned. Bar had loud and intrusive tv with giant screen nowhere to relax with a nightcap and coffee after dinner Panna cotta tasted off (minor criticism) Dinning room had unrelaxing atmosphere -- too open to bar area. Not much of a complaint but location where hotel is situated, not for people who would be looking for night-life or shopping trip. The staff in reception were the first people in Ireland that made me feel unwelcome and that it was a bother to assist me. A Customer service course might be of benefit. Breakfast rather poor, especially bread selection. No real muesli option and mixed fruit offer did not look fresh (tinned?). Also, dinner disappointing.. Soup cold, meat so-so, and 'pavlova' far from real thing. Nothing. There wasn't anything I could fault. loud intrusive music in bar and restaurant. 12 o clock checkout. no ice machines ... only complaint we would have is that the tea and coffee was cold by the time we were ready for it. We would suggest not to bring the tea and coffee so fast at breakfast - meant to put this on comment form. nothing. Absolutely nothing!!. Room too warm Bad Pillows. The food was good but not outstanding e.g. the choice of fish dishes was most limited. Couldn't fault anything. Was very noisy on the Sunday night but I was assured that this was a dinner dance that took part once a year and I was unlucky to pick that night. They did not charge me for this night. Nothing at all !!.
