We stayed in a private villa with plunge pool on the river side. It was absolutely amazing. Beautiful atmosphere, the setting was awesome. We love the place. The staff are wonderful and helpful and friendly. The food in all the areas we also loved. It was so very relaxing. When we can we will be back and friends have been told about this magical place

Beautiful hotel next to the Campuhan Ridge walk which was really really nice. Do it in the evening or early morning and go to karsa cafe. We did not try the restaurant. The pool was really really nice - one of the best hotel pools we've tried. Got upgraded from Tree top to Ibah Suite which was nice - the room was definately luxurious and very very comfortable. Everything. It was the best hotel of our honeymoon, where we felt at home and were we truly felt like we were on a 5* hotel.
Upon arrival, we were offered a 1/2 hour complimentary back and shoulders massage (for the both of us, it was our honeymoon) in the SPA. It was simply perfect, the best massage we had in Bali.
We asked for a wood carving lesson (on a day that no lesson would take place) and the staff arranged a private lesson for us at no extra charge. This activity is extremely relaxin

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and were knowledgeable about the attractions and activities in the area.
I also liked the tranquility of the area - found Ubud centre a little crowded, so the setting of this place just a little on the outskirts was a plus point. The shuttle service provided ensures that even if you dont have your own transport, you can travel into Ubud centre with ease.

The Mansion was very different to other 5* I've stayed in so don't expect the same generic style and layout of other hotels. This place has a lot of character and it made a nice change to the large chain hotels.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was really quiet - as there are 5 pools - there always seemed to be somewhere you could relax without too many others around.
They also have a lovely spa, which again isn't your usual 5* standard but the treatments we got were great.

It is fabulous to stay in these exquisite villas. Everything is splendid and every detail is well-groomed; staff is very charming, attentive and discreet, foods are delicious and private pool, well isolated, is large enough to feel alone together in a paradise.
