Spent 3 days in this family-owned small hotel (only 6 suites). It feels like paradise on earth. The setting is beautiful and quiet around a big pool. Very friendly staff, always helpful and very nice to our little baby girl. The villa, pool and surroundings were meticulously cleaned multiple times per day. The circular pool shared by the villas works well, gives a sense of privacy being at the back of the villa but is big enough to have a real swim. -

Great design for family or multiple couples, very handy to all activities and needs on Gili. Well looked after by the attentive and friendly staff. Spacious and modern feel with large central lounge set by the pool as well as 3 large bedrooms. Highly recommended. -

As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

Super nice hotel, great location, helpful and super friendly staff! No pool but the beach is right across from the hotel. The restaurant Mawar next to Good Heart is the best place to eat, all we had was superb. I would recommend Good Heart to everyone going to Trawangan!

First of all the people working in the resort are excellent-you are the guest and not just the number.Also the cook is very good and he always comes to the table to ask a guest if the food is good.Breakfasts and dinners on the beach are something special.And at last Yuca-the owner is very nice person. This resort is at the top of the island which while is about a 20 min walk into the town which is very dark at night ( take a torch), it does have the best snorkelling spot from the beach outside the hotel. We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.

Loved the villa, the privacy and the peace and quiet. Ten minutes walk or cycle from the bars and restaurants, yet everything was available to you if you just wanted to stay home, and the villa was more than inviting for you to do just that. We stayed here in the last week of our two week trip (Bali first) and we really wished we had had our two weeks at Les Villas Ottalia. We will definitely be back.
