The level of attention to detail in this place is astounding, it is very beautiful and you really do feel faaaaaar away from reality.
Everything is on your terms. No waking up early for breakfast - you decide when you want it, where you want it and what you want. Relaxation to the max.
Ridiculously romantic.
The staff are always very friendly and very helpful. You get the impression that they really do enjoy what they do.

Very friendly staff, always helpful and very nice to our little baby girl. The villa, pool and surroundings were meticulously cleaned multiple times per day. The circular pool shared by the villas works well, gives a sense of privacy being at the back of the villa but is big enough to have a real swim. -

In the middle of palm trees, this a very quiet place (no noise at night, no cock, far from the mosquée and the bars) near to all the Gili activities: at 5 min in bicycle of the animated center of Gili Trawangan and close to the beach.

Every single interaction with the Sheraton staff was a pleasant experience. They were all so friendly and positive. the swimming pool was the best we have ever seen: like something out of a movie. We felt like movie stars lying beside the gorgeous pool. The private beach was lovely to stroll on, no hawkers. Happy hour in the Sunset Bar daily was great value and a lovely setting. And the gardens were Devine.

This resort is at the top of the island which while is about a 20 min walk into the town which is very dark at night ( take a torch), it does have the best snorkelling spot from the beach outside the hotel. We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.

We managed to arrive a day earlier than our booking, but this wasn't a problem for the super friendly staff. Rooms are big and spacious with excellent bathroom. Clean as well.
