We arrived at Casa Fortuna after a very long flight from London, we were tired and jet lagged. We got a wonderful welcome from the reception with cold drinks and cold towels to refresh! Our room was functional but spacious, clean and very good cable tv. The buffet breakfast is amazing, we also tried the restaurant in the evening and it was delicious. Most recommended!

restaurant. Noise is what you expect with the chaos of daily trading -
but it is friendly noise and does stop late at night until around dawn.

We were treated very nicely by the staff at Peerless Inn. And we got our room on arrival even though it was very early Sunday morning. Every one at the hotel was very helpful and kind to us. The hotel is at good base if you are visiting Kolkata. -
