We were treated very nicely by the staff at Peerless Inn. And we got our room on arrival even though it was very early Sunday morning. Every one at the hotel was very helpful and kind to us. The hotel is at good base if you are visiting Kolkata. -

Right here on the market square - can't get any closer to the Indian
daily life in Kolkata. A fairly new refurbishment, with a small
restaurant. Noise is what you expect with the chaos of daily trading -
but it is friendly noise and does stop late at night until around dawn.
The staff really like their work and are friendly and helpful. -

were moved into was quaint with a great view and welcome windows. -
This was a comfortable hotel in a good central location. They provided me with a pack-breakfast as I left early to catch my flight.
