  The Taj Malabar is a superb smallish quality hotel set in beutiful grounds with expansive views accross a wide river estuary to the old Kochi city and newer commercial docks beyond. But the Malabar Taj is best remembered for its service whi - I am totally impressed with the level of service provided by everyone, from the spa therapists, to the receptionists, and the waiters. We were treated to sumptious meals at the eating places at all times. The food was spectacular. The housekeeping service was impeccable, and I was delighted by the nice extra touch of towels nicely folded into different animals everyday. As a solo traveller, security is a great priority.
