Nice home-feeling place to stay with a family.
The lady of the house was extremely helpful and kind: she ordered us a tour plus a taxi to the airport since we wanted to save a bit time due to our early morning flight.
WI-Fi was nice; with our gadgets we could plan the next day in Reykjavik. -

We booked the smallest and cheapest available room (the double studio). When we arrived, finding our keys and room was very easy.
The room was small but very clean - the bedding smelt very fresh. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant.
I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more). However when the owner and Thora heard it was the last leg of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a 3 bed

The location is very good as it is very close to the shops, church, grocery and iceland excursions terminal and main office. Room 504 is really nice with kitchen, balcony, living room and 2 single beds. I was very happy with the kitchen because it's got everything! I enjoyed my short stay, as I relaxed like never before. Slept like a baby in a comfortable bad, toilets and room were clean, breakfast great (especially the croissants freshly baked!) and the staff is really friendly and nice. I would recommend it to everybody - especially in the high season!

We checked in really late which was not a problem. we we dead tired and found the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel.
The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old.
Breakfast the next morning was very nice.
Will definitely stay here again!
