Loved this small, thoughtfully decorated hotel. Small, intimate and lots of attention to detail. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Went out of their way to help us with visiting sites, getting taxis, etc. Very reasonably priced, good location. We missed our connection to Budapest because of weather and thus forfeited a night we had paid for at the Beletage, but the hotel let us have a free night on our return! We were impressed - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

This place is great! The owner, Viktor, is a very nice guy and was extremely helpful. We arrived late in the evening and he arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport.
The Budavar Pension is clean, quiet and is in an excellent location, very close to the Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Chain Bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The best atmosphere we've ever experienced. The hotel is run by a family which lives in the same building (a couple and their 8 year old son). The lady does all the organizational work (reception, breakfast cooking etc).

Everything. The owner is the real deal, does not just go thru the motions but really cares that you are happy and taken care of. Takes the time to go the extra 100 miles, for advice to plan your day or your trip, to make custom eggs for breakfast, to make sure you have everything you need in your room. Aparment on Raday street is right in the centre, perfectly walkable to all sights and atractions. It has own fully equipped kitchen with couple of glasses. mugs. plates, pots, pans, cutlerry, microwave, kettle etc. Next room has two tables, tv, sofa. Friendly Staff. Family run (at least looked like). Good location if you look for something near Industrial Areas. Quiet location. No traffic noise -
cheap accomodation, near the highway and near to Budapest, relatively clean. Lady at the desk speaks a little German so basic communication was possible, which can be sometimes quite hard in Hungary.
