We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

Public parking available outside (free on weekends). Good location if by car or do not mind to walk or change public transportation. Not expensive restaurants in the vicinity. Very friendly English-speaking staff. Rooms facing yard are very quiet. Water heater with tea bags and instant coffee (inc. caffeine-free) in the room. Air conditioner on at the time of arrival.

As a solo traveller celebrating my birthday at the time of my stay I received a superb recommendation for a nearby restaurant for dinner & was looked after at the Bohem Art bar by being given a complimentary bottle of champagne!

Our stay at Estilo Fashion hotel was excellent from minute one. Reception staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, room spacious, clean and modern. Location in pedestrian mall and within walking distance of many tourist attractions and not far from the river and the large city indoor market. A very pleasant stay. We will highly recommend this hotel to our travelling friends.

A great location, if you want to be near the main tourist street with lost of shops and restaurants (which are open late and sell everything at 'tourist prices'). The apartment has an unique atmosphere, with very high ceilings, windows opening to Vaci utca, and a church sitting in the back yard.

So the hotel is really good and absolutely value for money (we've payed 180 EUR for dbl room for 3 nights with breakfast). There is a sauna, jacuzzi and mini water pool in wellness center and opportunity to order massage with discount.
