The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

  I know my friend who stayed in this hostel couple of times. She was very satisfied with the price, the kindness and the location, so we tried this one too. It is a very simple hostel, but we had all we needed. We were in the city all day and then it was so great to go to the hostel any time, they have 24/7 reception and you can have questions at 3... lo que la gente dice » AM. At this price an own separate bathroom is just a wonderful deal on the Gellert-hill. It was peaceful for an old couple like us too. - It was a fun place to stay. We were having fun in the city all day and night long and we just went to the hostel to crash to the bed. We started partying there with couple of drink at the reception and then the reception girl recommended some places to go. OMG, those were awesome places. Glad we had the staff like that. We did not bother anybody since we had our own bathroom. My friend also was able to smoke on the balcony. We want to go back.

  Ideal place for a quick trip to the city. The apartment is large, clean, has separate toilet and bathroom, private parking, and fully-equipped kitchen. The manager (Christian) was extremely helpful and kind. Also, the tram which takes you to the city center is only 5 minutes away. The area is quiet. - Apartment was comfortable and quiet. I was nervous because my mother doesn't speak english well, but she decided all with Christian in the best way. I recommend this place.
