Very helpful staff, and moderately good English speaker, which helped. The restaurant she recommended was very good and again a nice value. The rooms were very clean, pleasant, well accommodated and a very reasonable value. It was a 14 minute walk into town, which was acceptable. A big YES for this place. Location could not be better, the view from the room was awsome: panorama to the castle and cathedral. Rooms are extremly clead and nice furbished. Henrietta and her family were awesome. The hotel is located close to the train station and downtown so you can walk both ways easily. The staff was very attentive, the breakfast was great (hand made eggs) and Henrietta went out of her way to have us meet the family and insure that our stay was perfect. I would stay here anytime and recommend it

What a wonderful Penzion. Great outside grounds and our room was perfectly comforable and clean. We went to the castle and wine caves. Our stay was just what we needed after our Prague city adventure. We so much enjoyed all of Eger.
