Loved this small, thoughtfully decorated hotel. Small, intimate and lots of attention to detail. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Went out of their way to help us with visiting sites, getting taxis, etc. Very reasonably priced, good location. We missed our connection to Budapest because of weather and thus forfeited a night we had paid for at the Beletage, but the hotel let us have a free night on our return! We were impressed - thank you!

This place is great! The owner, Viktor, is a very nice guy and was extremely helpful. We arrived late in the evening and he arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport.
The Budavar Pension is clean, quiet and is in an excellent location, very close to the Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Chain Bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

the nonsense elsewhere abou no locking doors, perfectly obvious that

need. Fridge and freezer for guests. Wi-Fi and pc for guest use, no

Everything. The owner is the real deal, does not just go thru the motions but really cares that you are happy and taken care of. Takes the time to go the extra 100 miles, for advice to plan your day or your trip, to make custom eggs for breakfast, to make sure you have everything you need in your room. An amazing view, an excelent breakfast, very nice hostes. Despite the fact that the pension is quite far away from the centre, it has an excelent connection to the tram 59 where are many parking spaces, near the entrance to the grave yard.

Aparment on Raday street is right in the centre, perfectly walkable to all sights and atractions. It has own fully equipped kitchen with couple of glasses. mugs. plates, pots, pans, cutlerry, microwave, kettle etc. Next room has two tables, tv, sofa.
