I really liked the Activity Hostel and I advice to everyone to stay there. Wonderful location, nice staff, and quite and comfotable ambient. Until now one of the best that I have ever tried.

You can't get a better deal in Budapest! Central location, friendly staff who were very willing to give recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants, big and clean dorms and bathrooms. All for 6 EUR a night!

Homely apartment, with nice backpackers. Very helpful staff, enthusiastic and helpful all the time. Perfect location in the center of everything. I will recommend this to anyone who wants a calm hostel.

since these hostel was in a residence area so the outside or in the building of this hostel was very dirty and dark and make us feel uncomfortable and dissapointed..

Very friendly well designed hostel. Good social area/ kitchen. Good bathrooms, rooms are big enough to have room for your stuff.

The location, free coffee and tea, enough showers and toilets. Feels like home.

The pillows are so bad! Even with a towel inside in it, its no pillow! The roomfloor is wood, that makes a lot of noise. There are no real curtains, so its light very early in the morning! But you can take earplugs and a cape for your eyes. The pillow is a real problem!

Excellent location - right in the middle of the city center, next to all the metro, tram and bus stations. Friendly staff and a well equipped kitchen. It really exceeded our expectations in all ways - especially considering the cheap price.

A very good hostel. Clean, nice and perfectly located (metro line 1 has a stop right in front of the building and the main metro junction, Deak Ferenc ter, is a few meters away. There is a supermarket closeby which also accepts euro). A fully equipped kitchen, free coffee and tea and many more. The staff are helpful and friendly. The best is that not only the hostel but the building is smoke free. We'll be back!

Excellent location in the heart of Budapest, next to the subway station. Very friendly Staff.A restaurant recommended by the receptionist served excellent hungarian food for very reasonable prices, we even got a 10% discount. The hostel was very clean, the rooms were quite large. Definitely exceeded all of our expectations, just like the city itself.

Loved everything about this hostel, it was so comfy, we felt right at home. Best hostel we have stayed at and defiantly the cheapest. Great location and always sooo clean.

The only thing we didn't like was the squeaky bunk beds in the 6 bed dorm, they were comfy enough but you couldn't even roll over without making a noise.

Very nice, extremely clean and cozy place. It is a very good apartment. U can find everything u need there. People and staff are very friendly! When I needed help, they listened about my problem very attentively and really helped! Thank u very much lovely Activity Hostel! I am very happy, that I was there! Notice! There is a place just near the hostel, where u can rent a bike! Believe me, Budapest is the best place for cycling! It is Pest side. Location of the hostel is really perfect! U just have to cross the Street to get to St Stephen's Basilica (the most beautiful thing in the world ))) Andrassy Street is in the very center of Budapest!!! If u go along this street to the Duna, u’ll find an amazing bridge (Széchenyi Chain Bridge) and Buda Castle. If u go to another end of this street, u’ll find wonderful Heroe’s Square, national museum, lake with some perfect castles! By the way it is highly recommended to drink a cup of coffee in the café near that lake! So this is very good hostel to stay and quite cheap! But I should emphasize that it is quiet place. While my standing the atmosphere there was very calm. It seems that it is pretty good place for relaxing, talking, drinking tea or coffee, but not having parties. Very easy to get there from the airport!!! In the airport u take the bus to the suburb (450 forints). U should exchange money in the airport! Tickets u can buy already in the bus. Go by this bus to the last stop. There is Metro Station – Kobanya-Kispest. Go by train… I think 11 stations – to the stop Deak Ferenc ter (350 forints). It is quite quick… and comfortable. SO friends!!! Have a nice trip! And enjoy Budapest! Greetings from Ukraine!

Very beautiful hostel to stay in. It felt more like a home then a hostel. The bathroom was massive and the areas were very clean. Very safe place and great location. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is near the metro. The wifi and other equipments ( ironing machine etc. ) were running well. A self-service kitchen is in the hostel.

evrth,from the girls who meet the guests,facility itself,spaciousness,number of toilets,bathrooms,jacuzzi,cleanliness,superb location,paying attention to small things they've provided for everyday use,lots of leaflets,books,offers for tourists,lap top,kitchen etc......

it depends a lot on group of people you are staying with,cause they might be the reason that you get no sleep or rest at all,since none of the employees is present during night....maybe to emphasize to the guests,that peace and quiet is a must after certain hours,or some penalties for complaints of other guests,especially cause one of the rooms I stayed in,was ''passing through",so you might get constant slamming of the doors,turning lights on/off,loud talk,yelling etc throughout the night...

I wish the code outside the building wasn't push button. It is hard to get in I'd you are coming in from a night of drinking

The best thing is location - in the center of Budapest! Quite clean, nice receptionists (but haven't known the details about the car parking at the nearest streets). I would stay at Activity Hostel again if I visit Budapest once again! The best value for money, I think.

Wi-Fi does not work in all rooms. Interconnecting rooms - we stayed in 4-person room, and to get to it we should go through another room (for 6 people)... Not enough furniture from my point of view. We would like to have a wardrobe in the room...

In the night nobody from reception is there so an Australian group of friends were totally drunk and disturbing everybody. I was shooted with a plastic gun and I call the owner but she didn't do anything.

It is not written on the Hostel website that the 4-person room is female and male mixture, so it is a little bit unconvient.
