Fantastic location on a quite secluded beach looking out towards Skiathos, with two good tavernas a few minutes walk away, and the small resort village of Platanias 15 minutes walk around the headland. Friendly family run hotel with clean rooms and good facilities. Ideal place to relax and unwind. Idyllic. -

Very nice young couple manages the place (she speaks german, he english)
room was ok with a big balcony and a really great view. We could see
mountains, beach and a nice sunset. They also have a nice place on the
roof to enjoy the evening and have a drink. Free parking in front of the
hotel. Bathroom small but clean small pantrykitchen with a fridge (not
the minibar-frigde but a real one) beach right around the corner we
would go there again and can recommend the place

The hotel was beautiful. We had rooms overlooking the sea. The villiage
is post card perfect. We arrived 2 weeks before the season so we where
the only tourists in the town, so most restaurants where closed. The
owner made us a log fire in lounge. We stayed in Anesis Hotel and left
the next morning for Volos to catch the ferry to Skiathos. You nee

leave yourself at least an hour to travel by car over the mountain to
get to Volos. The drive is breathtaking. In winter the area turns into a
sk - We have spent two weeks, at Anesis Hotel along with our friends - 4 persons in all, mature couples and well traveled too. Everything was perfect, from the music pouring from the reception, to the wonderful cakes and bread freshly baked every morning by the owners. Milthos and his family are kind, educated and make the tourists feel at home.
If you want to go to Agios Ioannis, do not spend time in searching a hotel, just go to Anesis, and you will not regret!
