The setting in an orange and olive grove in the hills outside Nafplio is spectacular.
The homemade marmalades, breads, and fresh juice make every breakfast fantastic.

The owners arranged for us to tour a local (but world-famous) winery -- a great experience.
It is an easy drive from Athens and a good base from which to explore the Peloponnese region.

The family running the place was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing, well decorated and very clean. Pool seemed nice though we havn't used it, and the breakfast was rich and tasty.

And the only one of the 3 business hotels in the centre of Sparta with a (modest) swimming pool. If you are lucky there is still some street parking left in front of the hotel. My husband and I have stayed here 6 times before, and we were pleased overall. Now, with the recent renovations modernizing the rooms, we were even more pleased. It's classy, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sparta. We will continue to stay here every time we visit relatives in Sparta.
