What can I say? Ioannis, his wife and Litsa could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The apartment overlooked the bay and the town. The views were so stunning and the island so relaxing, that we stayed in Fourni for a week on our four-week island-hopping holiday. Fourni is unique. Hardly any traffic, great little shops and restaurants but unspoilt by tourism. It's great for walking and for peace and quiet and still warm and sunny in mid-October. Ferries from Samos and Ikaria. Our room was exactly as expected. Relativelly big, cosy, very clean and at the right spot, right infront of the port. Lovely staff, great hospitality! Nice and clean room with fridge. A perfect breakfast with homemade jam. We received some homemade jam and spices and herbs after we left the hotel! They are so kind, you feel like home. We enjoy our stay on island Fourni. At the end of the mainstreet the best Souflaki ever! In the harbour we take a pita gyros - perfect!
