This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach). The people are lovely! Great hosts! The atmosphere is relaxed. Then it is very close to the beach which is marvelous. It is also close to several tavernas with good food and nice people. It is close to a small but very useful supermarket. And it is close to public transportation (bus) if you want to go to Chora (Naxos city). The rooms are carefully designed and clean. It is peaceful.

The hotel Plaka is near the camping Plaka, it shares the reception, bar- restaurant, supermarket and the swimmingpool. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The beds were really confortable. Breakfast was good but was the same things each day, no variety.
The place is 5 minutes walking to the beach. Fantastic place!!

Nos encantó Studios Athina Plaka, es un hotel sencillo pero muy acogedor a unos pasos de una playa preciosa.

The location of the hotel is about 1,5 km behind the the main beach area with all the beach coffee houses, bars and beach supermarkets. It is about 100 m from the beach. It has several rooms. Looks like 4 of them (2 lower and 2 upper floor) with sea view.
We had one of the lower floor with our own entry. The breakfast (in case you order) was served to our terrace.

very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white
sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore.
The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most
appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros
as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere
so beautiful.

Our stay was very good. The room was nice and well equipped. The bathroom was small but with a very good shower with a curtain (not always we found it in Greece) and window with a very useful mosquito net (2 out of 3 windows had mosquito nets).

Away from the tourist places you discover Naxos from the original and quiet side. The evenings on the terrace with their bougainvilleas you can relax the soul.
Take the advantage of the opportunity to rent a scooter or quad in the house because the public bus only runs 5 times a day. A small supermarket and 2 typical restaurants and the sea are 400m from the house.
Beautiful clean beach with fantastic view of Paros during the sunset.

Adonis was brilliant - he picked us up from the port and returned us there, arranged immediate bike and car hire, brought us fresh bread in the morning and cake from his mother, plus homemade wine from his brother! Our room at zefyros was clean, spacious and comfortable with a great balcony where we ate a couple of nights. Plaka beach is gorgeous.

Zefyros Studios is a nice place to stay to visit the beatiful beaches of the west coast of Naxos (5 minutes by car/scooter): seaview room was perfect, with a nice balcony where we could enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Antonis and Marianna treated us as their friends: they offered us white wine, as well as fruit and sweets freshly prepared. They were helpful in any situation and they made our staying very comfortable.
