It was a nice hotel, no luxury but ok for staying a couple of days in Athens. The best thing about it, is the location, it was close to every attraction in Athens, just walking distance to Parthenon.

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

La vista desde la terraza/restaurante era la mejor de Atenas y el desayuno era muy bueno con toda la atencion de los camareros. Everything was excellent. The balconies put you as close as you can get to the view. George could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to show us around town and make sure we had evetything we needed. He even escorted us to out tour and made sure our boat would wait for us! The fresh white walls of the bedrooms in Hotel Thireas mirror the crisp white structures of Santorini. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy
that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple
of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area
which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was

All the staffs are so nice and helpful. Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.
